Research
The main theme of my research concerns the study of spatial cognition. My group and I use fish as model systems to understand how animals perceive, learn and remember spatial information from their local environment, and how they use this information to orient efficiently. Our work not only has a fundamental importance to animals’ survival and success, but also acts as a model for the study of sensory ecology, learning and memory.
